The world as I see it
Even the birds are staying in the shade trying to stay cool. Hopefully this "heat dome" will be ending after today and then temperatures will go down slightly. This mourning dove sat outside our office all day. It would fly onto a rock and then jump back down but it didn't leave the area. I was afraid it was injured and unable to fly, but when I left the office in the evening it was gone. I hope it is okay. Maralee
These three birds were sitting on the wire outside my office early one morning. Â I thought they looked interesting against the sky. Â I had to do some editing in NIK Software to bring out some detail in the birds. Maralee
