This hummingbird sat with his mouth open for several minutes. I don't know if he was trying to say something, catching bugs, or just trying to stay cool in the 95 degree heat. Maralee
I didn't realize there was a wasp in this photo until I downloaded it.  The hummingbird is keeping a close eye on the wasp - wasps and bees have been known to out-maneuver  hummingbirds and sting them, resulting in death. Maralee
