Outside our office, we have a very large ponderosa pine tree. Today was one of those rare, winter days where the sky was a brilliant blue. These pinecones looked beautiful against the blue sky. I put a vignette to bring more attention to the pine cones. Maralee

Day 12 – Pilot Butte State Park
The clouds lifted today and revealed a beautiful, cerulean blue sky with a few clouds to add interest. A little bit of the fog layer was sitting near the mountains. It was a great day for a hike up Pilot Butte and photograph the Cascades mountain range. Maralee
