The Elusive Heron
The heron I'm stalking has been keeping itself scarce lately. Rather than fishing on a rock in the middle of the river, its taken to hiding in the marshes along the river. I spotted it last week across the river trying not to be seen. Maralee
Geese
I love watching geese and ducks coming in for a landing. They're synchronized and will circle until they find the best landing conditions. Sort of like an airplane coming in for a landing. The geese are setting up their nesting areas and are defending their territory. There were numerous geese "couples" in the marsh setting …
