This butterfly was flying around my back yard when it landed on this weed. It's such a pretty weed I haven't had the heart to pull it yet. Maralee

It's not just the hummingbirds who hang out at my hummingbird feeders. This very large butterfly was enjoying one of them too. Maralee

I've been having a hard time photographing butterflies. Â They seem to flit about too quickly for me. Â This one was sitting still for a very long time - I think it was camouflaging itself. Â I never did get it with its wings open. Maralee
