There were a lot of flies coating the lions - especially when they were feeding on a kill.

We came across numerous instances of lions with a wildebeest kill. With 1.5 million wildebeest migrating during the great migration, food is plentiful for the predators.
Vultures
There are several different types of vultures in Kenya and they are everywhere . . . hovering to find the next carcass.
Storm Approaching
For the most part we had beautiful weather when we were in Kenya. But we did have a couple of thunderstorms roll through in the late afternoon on a couple of occasions. It made for some dramatic skies.
