Thunderclouds
We had our first big thunderstorm of the season roll through on Wednesday afternoon. It brought with it 3000 lightning strikes, 20 fires (all of which were put out), and some gorgeous thunderclouds. Unknown Bird
For a while this summer, we had dozens of these birds flocking in our yard. I don't know what they are, but they make a lot of noise. Maralee
Butterfly
I've been having a hard time photographing butterflies. They seem to flit about too quickly for me. This one was sitting still for a very long time - I think it was camouflaging itself. I never did get it with its wings open. Maralee
