The heron that I have been stalking and I had a little stare-down the other day. Â I won and it decided to fly off. Maralee
? Jay
I came across this bird while stalking the heron. Someone said it was a Steller's Jay but after looking it up, I wasn't so sure. Â If anyone can verify that, I'd appreciate it. Maralee
Birds
It has been extremely windy and rainy the last few days so I haven't been able to get out and shoot. Â The park where I normally go to walk is closed due to downed trees. Â So, these are a few bird photos I've taken in the past month or so. Maralee
Getting ready to take off
I enjoyed watching this duck literally run on water getting ready to take off. Â He flew about 20 feet and then landed again. Maralee
The Heron
Another photo of the heron taken on a different day. Â I'm still stalking it. Maralee
