This interesting beetle was sitting on my daisy one evening. I got up close and personal and it didn't seem to be bothered by it. I liked how it has such a hard shell on the outside, yet underneath the shell it looks soft and silky. Maralee

Butterfly
This little fellow was hopping from chives to chives one morning and I had to try photograph it. I didn't have time to set up my tripod so everything was hand-held. I don't think a tripod would have helped much because he kept moving around so quickly. Maralee
