Around this time every spring, the Cedar Wax Wings return to the area. I've been watching for them and they finally arrived last week. I think they are such gorgeous birds. Maralee

We've had a single quail hanging out at around the house the last few days. I don't know where the rest of his family is - I hope nothing bad happened to them. Maralee

There have been plenty of geese swimming in Mirror Pond enjoying the spring-like weather. Maralee

While I was in Minnesota, there was one section of road that we saw swans flying overhead every day we were on that road. They were a distance away so this has been cropped quite a bit. Maralee
