Our hummingbird season is short and our little friends will be leaving us in about a month or so. So I have to enjoy them now as much as I can. Maralee

Seagulls I
Seagulls are noisy and can make a real mess, but I have missed them. So while I was visiting my home town recently, I took quite a few photos of the herring gulls. Maralee
A Quail “Couple”
This quail "couple" was rolling around in the dirt in our yard and seemed oblivious to the fact that I was sitting about 10 feet away from them. I'm not sure why they roll around in the dirt, but maybe its how they clean themselves. Maralee

The hummingbirds have been very active but I've been busy and haven't had a lot of time to photograph them. I did get this little visitor though. Maralee
