This is the same bird on the same branch - I just walked around it to get different backgrounds. I was fortunate that the bird didn't fly away. Maralee
The Elusive Heron
The heron I'm stalking has been keeping itself scarce lately. Rather than fishing on a rock in the middle of the river, its taken to hiding in the marshes along the river. I spotted it last week across the river trying not to be seen. Maralee
Varied Thrush
I have seen several of these birds at the feeder at our office. They generally don't eat from the feeder, but will eat what has dropped on the ground. Maralee
Cooper’s Hawk
I believe this hawk is living somewhere in the area of our office. I have seen it numerous times and it occasionally will land in the tree outside my window. It doesn't stay long and is usually somewhat obscured by the branches of the tree. But it is fun to watch it. Maralee
