We had no thunderstorms, thank goodness. We didn’t get much snow this winter so we’re in for a dry summer. We had a few raindrops but nothing that amounted to anything. We had more stormy looking skies last night too, but no lightning and just a little rain. I worry about fire season this year.
Other than when we had the snow, we’ve been under a fire warning pretty much for the last four weeks, and it’s not even June. Yesterday it was in the 80s with a strong wind. The yard went from being wet from last week’s snow to bone dry in less than a half a day.
We have rain predicted for the weekend, but that usually changes as we get closer.
