Today was one of those dreary half snow, half rain days. Typical spring. On days like this, I really miss the sunshine and my mood often reflects that. So when I saw these daffodils, it was like a mini ray of sunshine that brightened my day.

I wasn’t able to take these photos until late in the day, and the sun actually did shine through a bit which created a harsh light. I did a little softening of the flowers in NIK software to take away a little of the harshness.

I like your colors.
How do you like NIK software? I have other packages, and don’t really need another, but I’ve read good things about them.
I like their programs a lot. I use a couple more than others. I use Color Efex, Silver Efex and Viveza the most. I have an early version and haven’t upgraded. If you go onto their website, they have tutorials that show how the different programs work. Every month they have free webinars, although most of them are while I’m at work so I don’t get to see them.
So nice to see the dafodils, I cannot wait until spring here.
Nothing like a pretty, bright yellow flower to lighten one’s mood! 🙂
we are in for a late winter storm today, so this ray of sunshine is perfect for me for today, beautiful. i also have nik software, and love it.. ; )
Love daffodils – they met me as I came to Dublin … in the 100rd – maybe 1000 … it’s so much hope and happiness in them. They grow wild both in UK and Ireland – national flower of Wales.
They are everywhere. One of the things I miss most about UK/Ireland. When I moved to Brighton I had a very little front garden and the first thing I put down was daffodil bulbs – lived there in 6 years and they became 100rd. Daffodils are for me Springtime. Beautiful photo’s, but wouldn’t except anything else from you! *smile
Thanks, Viveka. When I see daffodils blooming, I know spring isn’t far behind.
