The High Desert A’s of Central Oregon hosted the 2013 Northwest Regional Meet here in Bend this week. Model A enthusiasts (and their cars) have been seen driving around town but I hadn’t had an opportunity to photograph them.
On my way home from work today, I happened to pass by a parking lot where dozens of the Model A’s were parked. Because I usually take my camera with me wherever I go, I was able to stop and take some photos.
The cars were starting to leave as I got there . . . as I understand, they were going to take a tour of the Cascades Lakes Scenic Drive.
Great shots! Love the composition.
Thank you, Gina.
Love these images. I love hood ornament shots like that. Great job.
Thank you, Susan. There were a few unusual hood ornaments. One had a chicken.
Good photographers are always in the right place at the right time.
I was pretty lucky. After work I had to go to my doctors so I went home a different way than usual. If I had gone home my regular way, I would have missed it.
